Poetry I write but not just.

My work has appeared in TriQuarterly and some other places.

I am the author of a book of poetry Amelia Absent Amelia Present, which I was bound to bind, and which was adapted for performance by Jennifer Holmes and Craig Quintero at Northwestern University.   Also, an excerpt of the book was performed by Lydia Diamond as part of the Lexis/Praxis performance series in Chicago.

I was once a guest artist at the Illinois Summer High School for the Arts, and in 1999 I was the recipient of the Illinois Arts Council Award for poetry; this came with a prize which I almost threw away mistaking it for junk mail.

I hold a B.A. in English & Creative Writing from Northwestern University, at which university I am the Administrative Coordinator for the Department of Performance Studies.
